SYNOPSIS

The history of America is a history of violent land appropriation. Rapacious outsiders have long eyed this continent’s natural resources for their gain – often destroying the way of life of those who had lived & worked the land for generations.
This is a story of presumed underdogs who, inspired by the resilience of the original inhabitants of this continent, have refused to accept the unfair narrative of history – and risen up to protect their environment, their homeland, and fight for their rights.
The Town that Shot the Sheriff  is a film about America, a story that connects us all in unexpected ways to a sense of place and identity.
