SYNOPSIS

Synopsis: Every year, SHANE and JAMAL enthusiastically embark into their yearly war-themed game deep within the unfamiliar woods. This cherished tradition allows them to break free from reality and relish the excitement of battle. However, as events progress, they find it increasingly challenging to differentiate between what is real and what is an illusion, falling into a dizzying loop triggered by a powerful strain of marijuana called The War JOINT.

Alex Athy, known for sHELLy which premiered at Treasure Coast International Film Festival and is currently on Amazon. It secured eight festival accolades, with Athy being honored as Best New Film Director. Budget is $70,000 USD, shooting in Kalispell, Montana (tax incentive). We have $20,000 committed, so our remaining gap is $50,000.

Alexander Athy - Director

Alex Athy grew up in Montana, where he cultivated a love for sports and the great outdoors. In his sophomore year of college, he participated in a talent competition called Best New Talent, gaining recognition across six different categories. Although he didn't win, this opportunity led him to secure representation from a Hollywood manager. Following this experience, Alex moved to Los Angeles to chase his dreams in music and film. He had the chance to work as an extra in prominent films such as "Monster-in-Law," "Million Dollar Baby," and "Wild Things." Despite making progress within the entertainment industry, Alex eventually returned to Montana. There, his career began to thrive when he founded Treasure State Entertainment. Now, after eight years of hard work and commitment, we are excited to announce the debut of Alex's first film titled sHELLy.
