Joshua Weinstein - Director/Writer
As a born and bred NYC filmmaker, Joshua brings a gritty realism to his work yet infuses it with a sense of humor and pathos. He is endlessly inspired by people, and has worked intimately with celebrities like Ben Stiller and Jim Gaffigan to tuberculosis victims in the slums of Delhi. Weinstein recently directed the film MENASHE which was released theatrically by A24 in 2017. It received a 97% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes and was nominated for a Gotham and Indie Spirit award. His work has shown at Sundance, Berlin, and Camerimage. In the advertising world, Joshua’s work has been nominated for a Cannes Lion and in journalism he has been awarded a first place POY for multimedia project of the year for his work with the NY Times. Fun fact, he used to play bass in the hardcore band TROPHY SCARS.

Samuel D. Hunter - Writer
Samuel D. Hunter’s plays include The Whale (Drama Desk Award, Lucille Lortel Award, GLAAD Media Award, Drama League and Outer Critics Circle nominations), A Bright New Boise (Obie Award, Drama Desk nomination), The Few, A Great Wilderness, Rest, Pocatello, The Healing, The Harvest, Lewiston, Clarkston, and most recently, Greater Clements. He is the recipient of a 2014 MacArthur “Genius Grant” Fellowship, a 2012 Whiting Writers Award, the 2008 PONY/Lark Fellowship, and an honorary doctorate from the University of Idaho. His plays have been produced at such theaters as Playwrights Horizons, LCT3, Seattle Rep, Theatre Royal Bath, The Denver Center, South Coast Rep, Williamstown, Victory Gardens, Dallas Theater Center, the Old Globe, and elsewhere. A native of northern Idaho, Sam lives in NYC. He holds degrees in playwriting from NYU, The Iowa Playwrights Workshop, and Juilliard.
