GG Hawkins - Writer, Director

GG Hawkins is a Brooklyn-based, California-born independent filmmaker. Her debut short, An Aspirational Space, has screened at 16 festivals. She is part of the inaugural UCB Academy Cohort, Podcation’s Jupiter Saloon narrative team, and is an MFA Directing candidate at the Feirstein School of Cinema at Steiner Studios. She spent 2+ years at Gimlet Media, overseeing podcast partnerships with brands like HBO and Showtime to create award-winning audio content, including the first Cannes Lion for audio with the kids toothbrushing show, Chompers. GG also worked at Studio B Films, Google, and The Wall Street Journal. She studied improv, sketch, film, and acting at UCB, Berkeley Repertory Theater, and the Gaiety School of Acting, among others. Kyle Scott - Producer

Kyle Scott is a producer and entertainment professional based in Los Angeles.  He most recently served as Director, Creative Advertising for the independent film studio Bleecker Street in New York, where he collaborated on strategy and creative campaigns for over 30 movies, which cumulatively grossed $160M at the domestic box office.  Kyle also served on Bleecker Street's awards team, helping the studio garner two Academy Award and four Golden Globe nominations.  He received his BFA with Honors from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University and is currently pursuing his MBA with a focus on Strategy and the Business of Entertainment at the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business.  Kyle produced An Aspirational Space and is thrilled to be collaborating with GG for the third time on Break Cute.

Jasmine Romero - Producer

Jasmine Romero is a New York based actor and producer. Her work includes writing and producing Gimlet Media's award winning podcast Chompers (Cannes Lion, Alexa Skill of the Year, Clio Shortlist). She also served as lead producer for The Story Pirates Podcast, and the upcoming fiction podcast Motherhacker, featuring Carrie Coon and Lucas Hedges.  Previously her work on Sesame Street as (Sofia Sanchez) was nominated for two Daytime Emmys. She also co-wrote and co-created the webseries You're the Pest, which was featured at 18 festivals and won best series at Glowfest 2018. Adam Volerich - Director of Photography, Producer

Adam began making films as a stop motion animator, or as it is more commonly known, playing with LEGO. Adam currently works as a Director, DP, Producer and Editor in all areas of film and video production. He loves filmmaking in all of its forms but takes a special joy in working in the NYC Independent scene where he has worked on hundreds of short films and a handful of features. The set is his natural habitat and the crew his family. He has also produced thousands of corporate and commercial videos, mostly in the health and wellness, and lifestyle field. His work has been screened at festivals worldwide and published by clients including Disney, The New York Times, Vanity Fair, The Village Voice, Gothamist and Gizmodo. Adam has produced two feature films, ALT SPACE, and Life Coach, both of which are seeking distribution. Adam was the Director of Photography on An Aspirational Space.

Chris Giliberti - Executive Producer

Chris Giliberti serves as Gimlet’s Head of Gimlet Pictures, leading the development of Gimlet’s podcasts to TV and film. He is the executive producer on Homecoming at Amazon as well as all of Gimlet’s projects. Prior to Gimlet, Chris worked as an entertainment-focused management consultant at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he advised senior leadership teams on some of the media’s industry largest transactions, including the merger of NBCU and Comcast. Over the course of his work at Gimlet and BCG, he has appeared on Forbes and Inc. Magazine’s ’30 under 30′ lists, the Hollywood Reporter’s ‘NextGen’ list, and has been named a World Economic Forum Global Shaper.

Haley Shaw - Composer

Haley Shaw (So Wylie) is a composer and sound designer at Gimlet Media, now under Spotify. Aside from Gimlet, she’s a music producer and songwriter who works with recording artists under the name So Wylie. She sound designed, mixed, and wrote the original score for The Habitat. She created sound design and music for Spotify exclusive Mogul, the inaugural season of Jonathan Goldstein's Heavyweight, and Peabody-winning series Uncivil. She’s recently created original music for The Cut On Tuesdays and new series Conviction. She sound designed the immersive fiction thriller The Horror of Dolores Roach (starring Daphne Rubin-Vega, Bobby Cannavale) and recently scored films An Aspirational Space, (Best Original Score Silver Award, ISA), When We Grow Up (Catherine Curtin, “Best Feature” at Indy Film Fest) and The Resistance. She’s made custom music to support brands Reebok, Adobe, Audible, and Squarespace. 

Ananda Ferrari Ossanai - Editor

Ananda Ferrari Ossanai is an Editor, Producer and Director based out of Queens, New York. She has edited and produced several narrative shorts in the indie festival circuit, and currently works at Vayner Media editing content for brands such as Stella Artois, Pepsi, Olay, K-Swiss and Budweiser. She was a production coordinator on the Netflix feature documentary The Life and Death of Marsha P. Johnson and edited An Aspirational Space.

Debbi DiMaggio - Executive Producer

Author, Top Producing Realtor, Marketing Director and Partner at HIGHLAND PARTNERS Residential Real Estate, Speaker, Philanthropist, she now adds, Executive Producer to the list. Debbi thrives on paying it forward and giving back.
