Robbie Kruithoff - Creator/Producer

Robbie Kruithoff (he/him) is an multi award-winning director known for his latest short film which received 11 wins across 18 film festivals. Robbie has worked extensively with LGBTQ+ nonprofits around the world. He is also the co-founder of Wrong Turn Productions.

This film is extremely personal for Robbie. Growing up the gay son of two Pentecostal pastors, he struggled with mental illness, suicide, intravenous drug addiction, and homelessness. In more recent years, through his work with LGBTQ+ crisis organizations around the country, Robbie witnessed a frightening trend of an increase in suicide, homelessness, and abuse toward queer youth . To understand why, he spent that last five year journeying across America, following the trail of anti-LGBTQ+ legislation, hate crimes, and escalating hostility. 

Gene Gallerano - Co-Director/Producer

Gene is an Emmy-award winning Producer/Director. His films have feature actors including Meryl Streep, Natalie Portman, Ethan Hawke, Philip Seymour Hoffman, and many more.

Gene is an Executive Producer of the Oscar-nominated documentary film American Symphony about Grammy-winning musician Jon Batiste and writer Suleika Jaouad.

Gene is also a producer of the new Disney+ and National Geographic TV series Photographer. And Gene was a Co-Producer on the Emmy Award-winning film The First Wave.

William Nobel - Producer

William Nobel (he/him) is an Atlanta native with a diverse background in the entertainment industry. William set out to explore the vibrant entertainment hubs of Los Angeles and New York where he studied film and graduated with a Master of Fine Arts. Through his work as a writer-producer and the establishment of his production company, Wrong Turn Films, William strives to create content that resonates with audiences, sparks conversation, and leaves a lasting impression.

William Martin - Co-Director/Director of Photography

William is a BAFTA nominated documentary filmmaker focused on gender inequality, immigration, queer rights, and climate change. illiam was also awarded grants from BAFTA and the Fund for Investigative Journalism. His video journalism is currently featured in Time, Teen Vogue, The GroundTruth Project, BRIC Media, and Al Jazeera.

Johnathan Brownlee - Executive Producer

Johnathan Brownlee is an award-winning Canadian-American director, showrunner, writer, producer, and actor with a diverse international body of work. His feature films, documentaries, episodics, streaming and digital content have been viewed globally in multiple languages.His film credits include THREE DAYS IN AUGUST, DECODING ANNIE PARKER, THESTANDOFF AT SPARROW CREEK, OCCUPY, TEXAS, SATANIC PANIC, PUPPET MASTER, (S)HIT SQUAD and BREWMASTER: IN THE BEGINNING. Brownlee is currently in development on, THE EYES OF JEFFERSON (director/co-writer),MY NAME IS KIRA (director/co-writer), MONTSERRAT (director/writer), SNEAKERHEAD(director) and the limited series THE WILL ROGERS STORY (showrunner). NAVIGATINGCHRISTMAS (showrunner) released on Hallmark Channel November 17, 2023 and was the#1 most-watched entertainment cable program in the country that night. Active philanthropically, Brownlee currently serves as Chairman and CEO pf the Dallas Classic Film Festival (501c3 pending). He served as CEO &President of the non-profit Dallas Film and Executive Director of the Dallas International Film Festival. He also created the Veterans Institute for Film & Media (VIFM), a special hands-on training program for military veterans.
