Donari Braxton - Director
Donari Braxton (b.1982) is an award-winning filmmaker. He's directed commercially for such companies as Mercedes Benz and GQ and has written and produced content for HBO and Cinemax. Most recently, his narrative featurette "T-FAR" premiered at Switzerland’s Lucerne International Film Festival, while the narrative feature that he wrote and produced, "Out of My Hand," premiered at the 2015 Berlin International Film Festival and will be theatrically released worldwide by Avy Duvernay (Selma) and ARRAY this November 2015.
Takeshi Fukunaga - Producer
Takeshi Fukunaga is a Japanese filmmaker based in New York. He's received support from IFP, Berlinale Talents, and the National Board of Review. His directorial debut film, Out of My Hand, was screened in the Panorama section at the Berlin International Film Festival and won the top prize U.S. Fiction Award at Los Angeles Film Festival. The film was distributed worldwide by Ava Duvernay's ARRAY distribution company in 2015.
